Nutribullet 600 vs. 900 : What The Best Choice For You ?

There is more than one reason that makes us choose the 600 or 900 Nutribullet blender models. One such reason is the fact that Nutribullet keeps discontinuing the older models and brings better and advanced versions.

The blenders are high-end products offered and are a part of Magic Bullet blenders. They serve as a compact personal blender that is capable of shredding, grinding, chopping and blending both large and small quantities.

Each model under this series operates at high speeds and is fitted with specialized blades that are capable of extracting nutrients while blending. As per the company, this is the major USP of the product and differentiates it from the traditional blenders.

Observations

The 600 variant is a good option as an entry level variant from the Nutribullet series. Overall it does most tasks with ease and can be said to be the upgraded version of the popular Magic Bullet blender series. Its USP is the milling blade, and you will have a great time blending smoothies. The 600 variant is much stronger than any of the other single server blender brands.

Speaking about the 900 variant also referred to as the RX models, they are preferred due to its capacity, strength, and ease of use. It beats the limited capacity 600 variant that can only house 24oz of ingredients. However, for regular use, we still believe 600 variant to be a better choice regarding value for money.

Can Accessories Of Both Models Be Used Interchangeably?

Both the cups and the blades are interchangeable for 600 and 900 models. However, Nutribullet 600 comes with a separate milling blade while the 900 model doesn’t require the same as it is fitted with a Pro Extractor blade designed to multi-task and also do the task of a milling blade.

Moreover, it is not possible to use the Pro Extractor blade in the 600 model as its low powered as compared to 900 variant.

The motor size of each model determines the cup capacity wherein the max cup size of the 600 model is 24oz as compared to 32 oz colossal cups in case of the 900-watt variant.

What Are The Similarities In Nutribullet 600 And 900?

  • Operation
  • Powerful blades
  • Versatile
  • Easy to Clean
  • Leak Proof
  • Durability

Both the models come with cups and lids that area BPA-free plastics. This makes them microwave safe as well.

What are the differences?

Motor

The 600-watt model is fitted with .9 horsepower motor capable of producing 20,000 RPM.

On the other hand, 900-watt variant is fitted with 1.2 horsepower motor producing 25,000 RPMs.

With more rotations, Nutribullet 900 is capable of producing finer and smoother texture of liquefied food.

The smoother the texture, the better taste of ingredients. On the flip side, the more powerful a motor is, the more electricity is consumed.

Capacity

Nutribullet 600 has the capacity of 24-ounce while 900 variant has a capacity of 32-ounce.

Speaking in simple terms, this means, the Nutribullet 600 is good for a single person while Nutribullet Pro 900 is best for couples.

Accessories

Nutribullet 600’ complete set has over 12 different elements/parts/accessories.

On the other hand, Nutribullet Pro 900 is a 13 piece set.

Pricing

The Nutribullet 600 is cheaper than Pro 900 by about $30-40

Concluding Remarks

After reviewing the various options offered by the company, we would rate the Pro 900 to be the best option. Various reasons justify this claim. Be it the balance of power, ease of usage, accessories, and value for money.

The other thing we like about this product is the fact that its accessories are readily available as against any of the other variants offered by NutriBullet.

However, if you are a family of say 5-6 people, then we recommend buying the 1700 watt model. It is a powerhouse, and some advanced features make it a lot easier for you to serve a large family after a single operation.

The flip side that may turn you off from the Rx model is the auto blend feature. This heat feature is heating foods in the plastic cups which might sound unhealthy to many.

Now if you are comparing Nutribullet 600 vs. 900, there are negligible differences apart from the strength of the motor and capacity. On the other hand, the price difference between the two models isn’t huge, so it may be a good option to go for the 900 model if you are a couple.
